Job summary

Right at Home is seeking CNAs, HHAs, and Companions to provide in-home care for seniors and adults with disabilities in Stamford, CT. Roles include companionship, non-medical support, and assistance with daily living activities in clients’ homes and communities.

We offer flexible scheduling, competitive pay, and opportunities for ongoing education and training. A car is helpful for this independent, field-based work, with live-in options available.

Qualifications

• Caring and compassionate and desire to work with the elderly and disabled.
• Self-directed, with the ability to work independently, also will need a caregiver that has a car.
• Ability to read, write and speak and understand English as needed for the job.
• CNA certificate preferred but not necessary.
• High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.
• At least one year of experience as a Caregiver/Home Health Aide preferred.

Responsibilities

• Offer both companionship and non-medical support to seniors in their own homes.
• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and transfers.
• Prepare meals.
• Accompany Clients on errands or medical appointments.
• Perform light housekeeping.
