Job summary

Right at Home is seeking CNAs, HHAs and Companions (hourly and live-in) to support seniors and adults with disabilities in their homes. Build a rewarding career by delivering non-medical care, companionship, and daily living assistance in clients’ homes within the Connecticut area.

Qualifications

• Caring and compassionate disposition for elderly and disabled.
• Self-directed with ability to work independently; must have a car.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English as needed for the job.
• CNA certificate preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least one year of caregiver/Home Health Aide experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Offer companionship and non-medical support to seniors in their homes.
• Assist with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers).
• Prepare meals for clients.
• Accompany clients to errands or medical appointments.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Caring and compassionate and desire to work with the elderly and disabled
