Interim HealthCare of Western Michigan - Staffing is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for diverse assignments across facilities in Michigan. This full-time role offers variety, growth and the opportunity to care for residents in nursing homes, assisted living, and hospitals.

As a CNA you will assist with daily living activities, monitor vitals, support care teams, and help patients maintain dignity and comfort. Flexible schedules and benefits are highlighted in our staffing program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Active Michigan CNA certification is required.
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for the personal care and hygiene needs of patients in facilities such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, rehabilitation centers and hospitals.
• Work with a team of physicians, RNs, LPNs and aides to deliver excellent patient care.
• Help with daily needs such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating and nutritional intake.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises.
• Check vitals, measure intake/output, monitor blood glucose and document any changes.
• Observe patient and notify supervisor of issues requiring a change in care, medication or equipment.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Active Michigan CNA certification

Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations
