Interim HealthCare Staffing is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants to provide compassionate care in Grand Junction. Enjoy flexible assignments across facilities, with support to grow your skills and schedule control.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Active Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) required.
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations preferred.
• Compassionate, reliable, and able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Care for personal care and hygiene needs of patients in facilities such as nursing homes and hospitals.
• Work with a team of physicians, RNs, LPNs and aides to deliver quality patient care.
• Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, eating and nutrition.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises.
• Check vitals, monitor intake/output and document changes.
• Observe patients and report changes to supervisor.

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:

• Care for the personal care and hygiene needs of patients in facilities such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, rehabilitation centers and hospitals
• Work with a team of physicians, RNs, LPNs and aides to deliver excellent patient care
• Help with daily needs such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating and nutritional intake
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises
• Check vitals, measure intake/output, monitor blood glucose and document any changes
• Observe patient and notify supervisor of issues requiring a change in care, medication or equipment

A few must-haves for CNAs:

• High school diploma (or equivalent)
• Active Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in Michigan
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations
• Compassionate nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs
