Job summary

Interim HealthCare Staffing is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our network of caregivers in Michigan. You will provide essential personal care in facilities such as nursing homes and hospitals, with flexible assignments that fit your location and schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Active Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in Michigan is required.
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for personal care and hygiene needs of patients in facilities such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, rehabilitation centers and hospitals.
• Work with a team of physicians, RNs, LPNs and aides to deliver patient care.
• Assist with daily needs such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating and nutritional intake.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises.
• Check vitals, measure intake/output, monitor blood glucose and document changes.
• Observe patient and notify supervisor of issues requiring a change in care, medication or equipment.
