Job summary

Interim HealthCare Staffing is looking for CNAs to provide patient care across various facilities, with the ability to choose flexible assignments near home.

You will work with a team to deliver quality care, perform daily living assistance, monitor vitals, and report changes promptly. A valid Michigan CNA and compassionate approach are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) required.
• Active Michigan CNA certification required.
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations.
• Compassionate, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Care for personal care and hygiene needs of patients in facilities such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, rehabilitation centers and hospitals.
• Work with a team of physicians, RNs, LPNs and aides to deliver patient care.
• Help with daily needs such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating and nutritional intake.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises.
• Check vitals, monitor intake/output, blood glucose, and document changes.
• Observe patient and notify supervisor of issues requiring changes in care, medication or equipment.
