Sapphire Nursing at Meadow Hill in Newburgh, NY is hiring enthusiastic CNAs for all shifts. The facility offers a sign-on bonus of up to $600, paid in quarterly installments after completing a 90-day probation period.

Qualifications

• Active NY CNA certification.
• Experience in skilled nursing a PLUS.

Responsibilities

• Promotes resident hygiene and comfort.
• Distributes food/water and feeds residents.
• Assists with repositioning and transferring residents.
• Ambulates and transports residents.
• Records and totals fluid intake and output.
• Weighs residents.
• Documents on flow sheets.
• Assists with admission, discharge and postmortem care.
• Responds to call lights in a timely manner.
• Performs perineal care and uncomplicated colostomy care.
• Reports all observations & assessments to the Team Leader/Nurse Manager/Charge Nurse.
• Takes and records vital signs.
• Makes beds and keeps resident’s units clean and in order.
• Prepares room for housekeeping after resident discharge.

All new hires in the nursing department will get a sign on bonus up to $600.00 (paid in quarterly installments upon successful completion of initial 90 day probationary period);
