Job summary

CNA in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a part-time Certified Nurse Aide to join our skilled nursing community. You will assist residents with daily activities, provide comfort, and contribute to high-quality care in a 39-bed long-term care setting.

This role offers a schedule of 21 hours per week, night shifts 6:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., with pay range $21.71–$23.83 per hour plus shift premiums and a Michigan pass-through add-on through Sept 30, 2027; benefits include PTO, health, retirement, and daily

Qualifications

• Must have a current and valid Michigan Certification for Nursing Assistants (CNA).
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Experience providing direct care to the elderly, preferred.
• Ability to read, write, understand and carry out directions.
• Ability to perform job-related duties which may require lifting, standing, bending, transferring, stooping, stretching, walking, pushing and pulling.

Responsibilities

• Provide Hands-On Care – Assist with personal care (ADLS) like bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Support Mealtime – Help residents enjoy their meals and stay hydrated for good health.
• Keep Things Moving – Support mobility, including turning, positioning, and safe transfers.
• Perform Vital Checks – Measure and record vital signs, weight, and intake/output.
• Maintain Comfort & Care – Keep rooms tidy, cozy, and well-stocked with essentials.
• Provide Responsive Support – Answer call lights quickly and respond with kindness and compassion.
• Monitor with Watchful Eyes – Report any changes in conditions to the leadership ASAP.
• Demonstrate Respect & Professionalism – Maintain confidentiality while delivering top‑

Schedule: Part Time, 21 Hours per week | 6:00p- 1:00a

Week 1: Wed/Thur/Fri

Week 2: Mon/Tue/Fri

Pay Range: Pay range: $21.71 - $23.83/hr. (This rate includes an additional $3.40 per hour. The Michigan Skilled Nursing Facility Direct Care Worker Pass-Through program is approved through September 30, 2026; however, this additional pay will continue through September 30, 2027.)

Shift Premiums: Night (11:00pm - 6:59am) $0.75 | Weekend (Fri 11:00pm - Sun 10:59 pm) $0.50
