Job summary

BrioHR Pte Ltd is seeking Shahbaz, a CNA for a part-time 2nd shift in Grand Rapids, MI. The role supports elders with daily activities and creates a home-like environment.

Responsibilities include personal care, mealtime assistance, mobility support, vital checks, and collaboration with nursing staff. CNA certification and 18+ years old are required, with EMR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a current and valid Michigan Certification for Nursing Assistants (CNA).
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Experience providing direct care to the elderly.
• Working knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, PointClickCare (PCC) preferred.
• Ability to read, write, understand and carry out directions.
• Ability to perform duties which may require lifting, standing, bending, transferring, stooping, stretching, walking, pushing and pulling.

• Support Mealtime – Help residents enjoy their meals and stay hydrated for good health.

• Maintain Comfort & Care – Keep rooms tidy, cozy, and well-stocked with essentials.
• Provide Responsive Support – Answer call lights quickly and respond with kindness and compassion.
• Communication & Collaboration – Work with nursing and clinical teams to follow care plans and report changes.

Compensation: $21.97 - $24.10 / hour

Description

Schedule: Part-time, 24 hours per week | 2nd shift 2pm - 10:15pm | Varies Monday - Friday | Every other Saturday | No scheduling mandation

Shift Premiums: Weekend (Fri 11:00 pm - Sun 10:59 pm) $ 0.50

Pay rate: $21.97 - $24.10 (This rate includes an additional $3.40 per hour. The Michigan Skilled Nursing Facility Direct Care Worker Pass-Through program is approved through September 30, 2026; however, this additional pay will continue through September 30, 2027.)

The Shahbaz (CNA) provides compassionate assistance with activities of daily living, while also creating a warm, home-like environment through cooking, housekeeping, laundry, and more. Your care helps foster independence, respect, and a high quality of life for each elder.

Key Responsibilities
