Job summary

MediLodge of Grand Rapids is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. We offer leading market wages and a workplace focused on growth, teamwork and patient-centered care.

The CNA provides basic nursing assistance and helps residents with daily living activities under supervision. Starting wages are $19.90 to $29.15 per hour, with opportunities for daily, weekly or bi-weekly pay options and benefits including medical, dental and vision coverage, retirement plans, and tuition

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid CNA certification in the state of employment.
• Six months experience in a long-term care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer signal lights and bells to determine resident needs.
• Assist residents with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair, and incontinence care.
• Obtain food trays and assist residents with feeding.
• Assist residents with range-of-motion exercises, and movement to wheelchair or activity areas.
• Assist resident with turning and positioning in bed.
• Assist resident with ambulation for short distance in facility.
• Take and record temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration rates, and food and fluid intake and output, as directed.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.

Compensation?

• Starting wages at $19.90-$29.15 per hour.

Qualifications

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Licenses/Certification

Experience
