Job summary

Terracon is seeking a field/lab technician to perform testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials at project sites. You will collect samples, prepare data, and submit reports to the Project Manager, ensuring safety and quality standards on every project.

Qualified candidates have 3–5 years of relevant experience, proficiency with Word/Excel, and a valid driver’s license. NICET/ICC certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with laptop computer use and Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable history may be required.

Responsibilities

• Performs field testing, observation, and inspection as directed in accordance with training and procedures.
• Provides clear documentation of findings and results.
• Performs basic analysis of data to verify accuracy before submittal to the Project Manager.
• Communicates information to Project Manager and other personnel as directed by the PM.
• Maintains equipment and calibration and adheres to safety rules and practices.
