Terracon seeks a senior supervisor to oversee multiple projects, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to client requirements and company standards. The role includes proposal preparation, cost estimating, and active involvement in business development to grow client relationships.

The position also emphasizes safety leadership, staffing planning, quality control, and the management of key metrics such as revenue growth, billing, and profitability across the department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (Engineering, Environmental Science or Geology) with 5 years' practice experience, or 9 years' related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Master’s degree or PhD is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license may be required.
• Certification/licensure in the field is preferred.
• Terracon Authorized Project Reviewer status is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prepare proposals and cost estimates.
• With support from the Office Manager perform business and client development activities.
• Develop and manage staffing plans, recruitment and onboarding.
• Prepare and execute annual business plan for the department.
• Oversee and manage revenue growth, staff chargeability, billing and profitability metrics.
• Develop understanding of project-related risk and adhere to risk policies.
• Lead safety efforts and promote pre-task planning and safe work environment.
• Monitor and improve quality on projects and proposals.
• Ensure consistent quality standards on project and proposal delivery.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
