Job summary

Cérélia North America in Liberty, SC is seeking a CMMS Work Planner to support maintenance planning and asset reliability. The role reports to the Maintenance Manager and ensures work is ready with the right parts, tools, and information in Ultimo.

You will coordinate with maintenance leads, technicians, the warehouse team, operations, quality, and the CMMS key user to keep a backlog ready for execution, develop preventive maintenance models, and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in maintenance.
• 3+ years of maintenance planning or technical operations in manufacturing.
• Hands-on CMMS experience and ability to create/maintain work orders.
• Strong Excel and data-entry skills.
• Ability to interpret manuals and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Review work requests and define scope, tasks, labor, parts, tools, and service support before scheduling.
• Prepare job plans identifying access, isolation and permit requirements, sanitation, and downtime.
• Coordinate with the Warehouse Coordinator to reserve and stage parts in kits linked to the work order.
• Build proposed weekly schedules and maintenance packages for approval.
• Coordinate with Production Planner to align schedules and minimize downtime.
• Confirm readiness, contractor availability, and delivery dates; adjust plans when priorities change.
• Review Ultimo backlog for aging work, missing information, duplicates, overdue PM, and parts.
• Audit work orders for assets, scope, status, labor, parts, and documentation; fix gaps.
• Close orders under the approved workflow and delegated authority.
• Provide regular reporting on backlog, readiness, PM compliance, and due dates.
• Perform hands-on maintenance duties as time permits.
