Job summary

El Dorado Irrigation District (CA) seeks an Asset Management Analyst to run the CMMS and asset program, enabling data-driven decisions for capital rehab, maintenance priorities, and full lifecycle management of district assets.

The role interfaces with operations, engineering, IT, and finance; you will administer CMMS, integrate it with GIS/SCADA/ERP, train staff, and present findings to management and the Board of Directors. First review planned Nov 30, 2026.

Qualifications

• Three years of increasingly responsible experience in CMMS, asset management, or related fields.
• Associate’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Geography, GIS, Economics, Planning, Information Systems, Business, or related field; Bachelor's degree desirable.
• Valid California driver's license; Asset Management certification within twelve months from hire date.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional support in the planning, development, design and deployment of CMMS solutions to enhance O&M capabilities.
• Develops and maintains asset databases; collects data and conducts inspections for condition assessments.
• Creates processes for data capture to support capital rehab, lifecycle replacement, and cost-effective maintenance planning.
• Integrates CMMS with GIS, SCADA, and financial systems; trains staff and presents to management and Board.
• Oversees CMMS data input, verifies entries, and coordinates with operations to process work orders.
• Collaborates with IT and other departments to deploy CMMS and integrate district databases.
• Produces reports and visuals (maps, charts) using CMMS and GIS data to support planning and decision making.
• Supports budget processes, CIP development, and inventory/GL reporting; develops training materials.
