Job summary

Orange County Water District is seeking a Maintenance Scheduler/Planner to manage the CMMS for the Water Production Groups and Field Headquarters. The role involves planning, scheduling, and prioritizing maintenance tasks, and creating reports for maintenance, instrumentation, electrical, and operations personnel.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in related maintenance planning, experience with Maximo or similar CMMS, and a California driver's license.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in maintenance planning/scheduling
• Experience with CMMS software, preferably Maximo
• Basic proficiency with Word, Excel and reporting formats
• Understanding of asset management principles for water/wastewater equipment
• Valid California driver's license required

Responsibilities

• Plan, estimate, and prioritize maintenance tasks in CMMS
• Review and close out work orders with accuracy
• Collaborate with department managers on equipment performance and preventive maintenance intervals
• Develop and run Excel reports and queries
• Maintain CMMS database, inventories, and asset records
• Prepare training materials and provide CMMS training to staff
