Job summary

The Orange County Water District is seeking a Maintenance Scheduler/Planner to oversee CMMS administration, plan and schedule maintenance, and generate reports for multiple teams. The position requires strong Excel reporting skills, experience with CMMS software (Maximo preferred), and a valid California driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with college-level or trade school coursework in the assigned trade.
• Valid California driver's license required.
• Maintenance Certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the trade with CMMS experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, estimate, and prioritize maintenance tasks; review and close out work orders.
• Collaborate with managers to evaluate equipment performance and preventive maintenance intervals.
• Develop and maintain CMMS database and asset registers; create new asset records and schedules.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, yearly reports; develop and run Excel queries.
• Provide training on CMMS systems; prepare CMMS training manuals; assist staff.
• Write requisitions to procure parts and schedule repairs.
