Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a CMM Technician II in Huntsville, AL, to supervise dimensional inspection of high-precision parts. You will operate CMMs, develop measurement routines, and verify parts against drawings and fixturing while collaborating with design and manufacturing engineers.

You will support first-article, in-process, and final inspections, ensuring traceable data and repeatable results in a safety-focused environment. On-site role with potential shift work to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in dimensional inspection, CMM operation, or equivalent.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T callouts.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain coordinate measuring machines (contact and non-contact).
• Run, edit, and adjust CMM measurement routines.
• Establish part alignments and datum reference frames per GD&T callouts.
