Job summary

Blue Origin Huntsville is seeking a skilled CMM Technician III to join the Operations team. You will program, operate, and maintain coordinate measuring machines to inspect high-precision hardware and tooling built in-house.

You will develop measurement strategies, validate routines, and ensure alignment with GD&T and engineering drawings. You will work with design and manufacturing engineers, standing up measurement routines for current and upcoming hardware.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in dimensional inspection, CMM operation and programming, or equivalent military technical experience.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, inspection plans, and procedures with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency with precision measurement tools and GD&T interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Program, operate, and maintain coordinate measuring machines to inspect complex precision components.
• Develop and validate CMM measurement routines for new part families.
• Establish part alignments and datum reference frames per GD&T callouts.
