Job summary

NTT DATA North America is seeking a CMDB Implementation Specialist to join the Ashburn, VA team. The role focuses on enterprise CMDB design, data governance, and integration with discovery and ticketing tools to support IT operations.

The candidate will model CMDB classes, establish relationships, and drive data quality across complex environments, including federal contracting contexts. Strong communication and stakeholder management are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Education Equivalency: 4 years of additional experience.
• Minimum 10 years of Information Technology experience.
• Minimum 5 years of enterprise ITSM / CMDB / Configuration Management experience including CMDB planning, modeling, governance, and data quality frameworks.
• US Citizenship.
• Ability to obtain a CBP BI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Elicit stakeholder needs across Application Owners, IT Operations and Security; identify CIs, attributes, and relationships.
• Document requirements into functional/non-functional artifacts (use cases, user stories, acceptance criteria).
• Analyze data sources; identify gaps and migration challenges into the CMDB.
• Define CMDB classes/attributes and establish relationships to reflect the environment.
• Map CMDB processes to support Incident, Change, Problem, and Asset workflows.
