Job summary

Yochana is looking for a candidate with substantial experience in ServiceNow CMDB and discovery solutions to join their team. The ideal applicant will have expertise in implementing and configuring ServiceNow CMDB and Service Mapping modules, as well as strong scripting skills for automated processes.

Applicants should have at least 2 years of experience with CSDM-led CMDB implementation and a minimum of 5 years in Service Mapping solutions. ServiceNow certifications in Discovery and other ITOM are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Experience in ServiceNow CMDB/AMDB process.
• Experience in CMDB/AMDB data model and configuration.
• Experience in CMDB assessment and data cleanup activities.
• Experience in Service catalog development.
• Knowledge of CMDB normalization, identification and reconciliation jobs.
• Experience in ServiceNow customization.
• Integration experience using SOAP/RESTful APIs.
• At least 2 years of experience in CSDM‑led CMDB implementation using ServiceNow platform.
• Experience designing, developing, and implementing automated processes for gathering, populating, and maintaining CMDB data.
• Experience building CMDB health dashboards and custom reports.
• Good written and communication skills.
• Installation, configuration, and implementation of the Discovery module.
• Strong troubleshooting skills: reading logs and solving complex workflow issues.
• Writing maintainable code according to best coding practices.
• At least 3 years of experience implementing discovery solutions for multiple customers.
• Experience writing custom patterns for discovering custom/in‑house applications.
• Experience scripting and expanding the ServiceNow Discovery module.
• Knowledge of scripting languages.
• Experience building custom integrations using adapters and connectors.
• Comfortable scripting and coding Discovery probes, sensors, CMDB, CMDB types, and scripting.
• Knowledgeable and familiar with ServiceNow Discovery offerings.
• Lead customers through knowledge and requirements discussions for implementing and deploying ServiceNow Discovery.
• Experience coding, test scripts, and configuration for ServiceNow Discovery.
• Configure ServiceNow MID Servers in customer environments.
• Experience developing customized probes and sensors for Discovery.
• Deliver technical workshops on Discovery, integration, and full knowledge of CMDB/AMDB lifecycle.
• Articulate ServiceNow CMDB classes for Asset and Configuration, their relationships and dependencies.
• Installation, configuration, and implementation of the Service Mapping module.
• At least 5 years of experience implementing Service Mapping solutions for multiple customers.
• Experience writing custom patterns for discovering custom/in‑house applications in Service Mapping.
• Experience scripting and expanding the ServiceNow Discovery module for Service Mapping.
• Knowledge of scripting language for Service Mapping.
• Comfortable scripting and coding Service Mapping patterns, CMDB, CMDB types, and scripting.
• Lead customers through knowledge and requirements discussions for implementing and deploying ServiceNow Service Mapping.
