Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, seeks an IT Configuration Analyst to lead CMDB operations and governance across enterprise infrastructure, applications, and services.

You'll own data quality, audits, and reporting, partnering with operations, engineering, and service management to enable effective incident, change, and problem management in a regulated federal IT environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT or related field
• 4-7 years of experience in configuration management or IT operations
• Experience with ITIL-aligned CMDB and integration with incident/change/problem processes
• Experience using enterprise ITSM/CMDB platforms such as ServiceNow to maintain CIs and build reports
• Ability to obtain and maintain SECRET clearance; U.S. citizenship required

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day CMDB operations and CI lifecycle management
• Analyze discovery feeds and change records to reconcile data and drive remediation
• Plan and execute configuration audits and certifications
• Configure ITSM/CMDB tools to build queries, reports, and dashboards
• Ensure records are linked to CIs to improve traceability and reporting
• Define and report CMDB data quality metrics and governance
• Contribute to CMDB plans, procedures, and ITIL-aligned processes across a federal environment
