Job summary

Humana is seeking a Configuration Management Analyst to govern Humana's Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and ensure accurate tracking of IT assets, changes, and compliance across on-premises and cloud environments. Remote in the US geography.

You will implement CM processes, perform audits, supply configuration data for incident analysis, generate dashboards for leadership, and support IT asset relationships and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years in IT configuration management.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• 2+ years of experience in ServiceNow or ITSM platforms.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Humana’s CMDB, tracking assets and configurations through their lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain configuration management processes for accurate IT asset tracking.
• Perform audits to identify discrepancies and coordinate remediation.
• Provide accurate configuration data for incident analysis and impact assessments.
• Document CM procedures, standards, and control narratives.
• Collaborate with project and operations teams to support business needs.
• Generate and distribute configuration management reports and dashboards.
• Assist in troubleshooting configuration discrepancies with technical teams.
• Contribute to training and awareness on CM best practices, risk, and security.
• Support IT asset management through accurate relationships and dependencies.
• Suggest improvements to CM tools, processes, and documentation.
