Qualifications

• Administer oral and topical medications to residents under physician orders.
• Perform tasks under supervision of a licensed nurse and follow state/federal rules.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications as ordered under supervision.
• Records medications and uses computer system for resident info.
• Notifies licensed staff when residents report pain.
• Records vital signs as required by medication.
• Responds to resident calls and checks on residents with rounds.
• Observes and reports drug reactions to a nurse.
• Ensures safety and quality in resident care.
• Administers PRN medications per policy.
• Reports changes in residents' condition or behavior.
