Job summary

Hertford Rehabilitation And Healthcare Center in Hertford, NC is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) for a full-time shift from 7am to 7pm. The role administers medications under physician orders and nurse supervision to support resident health and comfort.

You will uphold state and federal rules, perform daily care tasks, monitor residents, document doses in the computer system, and respond to call lights to ensure safety and quality of care.

Qualifications

• CMA certification is required.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the five rights of medication administration.
• Ability to observe and report changes in residents’ condition.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications as ordered by a physician under supervision.
• Records all medications given and documents in the resident chart.
• Monitors residents for pain, vital signs, and adverse drug reactions.
• Responds to call lights and ensures resident safety and comfort.
