Job summary

Qualifications

• CMA certification required.

Responsibilities

• Administers oral and topical medications to residents under physician orders and nurse supervision.
• Observes and records vital signs when required and communicates changes to nursing staff.
• Ensures medication errors are avoided by following the five rights and facility policy.
• Maintains accurate documentation in the resident records and computer system.
• Responds to resident needs promptly and maintains safety and quality of care.
