Job summary

Hertford Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Hertford, NC is seeking a dependable Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our nursing team on a full-time 7am–7pm shift. The CMA administers medications safely and supports residents’ daily care needs.

You will work closely with nurses and CNAs to ensure high-quality, resident-centered care, adhere to state regulations and facility policies, and maintain a clean, safe environment while showing compassion.

Qualifications

• Active CMA certification in North Carolina.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care.
• Knowledge of medication administration and documentation standards.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.
• Dependable, professional, and resident-focused.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Accurately document medication administration and resident responses.
• Observe residents for changes in condition and report concerns to nursing staff.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed.
• Follow all state regulations, facility policies, and safety protocols.
• Provide compassionate, resident-centered care.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment.
