Qualifikationen

• CMA Certification is required.
• Experience administering oral and topical medications per physician orders.
• Ability to document medication administration accurately and follow safety protocols.

Aufgaben

• Administer medications as ordered by a physician.
• Follow the five rights of medication administration.
• Record all medications given in the resident chart.
• Notify licensed staff if a resident reports pain or adverse effects.
• Take and record vital signs as assigned.
• Respond to resident call lights and monitor resident needs.
• Observe and report any medication reactions to a nurse.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment to minimize errors.
• Support a culture of safety and quality of care.
• Administer PRN medications per policy.
• Document changes in residents’ condition as needed.
