Job summary

Qualifications

• CMA certification required.
• Experience performing medication administration per physician orders.
• Knowledge of the five rights of medication administration.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents under nurse supervision.
• Record medication administration accurately.
• Monitor residents for adverse effects and report to licensed staff.
• Take and record vital signs as required.
• Respond to resident needs and calls promptly.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the chart and computer system.
