Job summary

Ron Jaworski Golf’s Valleybrook Country Club in Blackwood, NJ is seeking a part-time Tavern Server/Bartender to join our spirited team. Provide prompt service, maintain bar area and glassware, and ensure compliance with beverage laws.

You should understand fine and casual dining, be of legal age to serve liquor, and excel in customer service. We offer meals, employee discounts, and golf privileges.

Qualifications

• Fine and casual dining knowledge.
• Must be of legal age to serve liquor according to state law.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Dependable and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience operating a computerized cash register.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
• Provide prompt and efficient customer service.
• Maintains a supply of all bar products/supplies, including all glassware.
• Maintains the sanitation and cleanliness of the bar area(s), glassware and equipment.
• Assures that all laws applicable to beverage operations are consistently followed.
• Learn the names of regulars and personally recognize them.
• Monitor guest experience and take appropriate action to assure the best customer service.
• Prepares garnishes, mixes and pre-mixed drinks.
