Job summary

Invited is seeking a Restaurant Supervisor to oversee daily food and beverage operations within the club’s restaurant, ensuring exceptional service and adherence to standards and safety guidelines. The role focuses on meeting and exceeding member expectations while participating in service during both low and high-volume periods.

The position reports to Restaurant Manager or Director of Restaurants/F&B and requires at least 2 years of restaurant or club experience, plus ServeSafe/ABC/CPR

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of restaurant or club-related experience in F&B.
• Preferred certifications: ServeSafe, ABC Certification, CPR.
• Completion of F&B online training modules: Service Training, Host Training, Bartender Training, Server Assistant Training, Banquet Server Training, Beverage Cart Attendant Training, Kitchen, F&B Refresh Training, Culinary Safety, Food Safety, and Alcohol Safety.

Responsibilities

• Uphold Invited’s service standards as outlined in the service training program.
• Oversee the service of food and beverages to members and guests, ensuring adherence to Invited’s standards of service and excellence.
• Directly and indirectly supervise service staff to ensure consistent service quality and exceptional member and guest experience.
• Accurately execute member and guest orders and special requests.
• Assist in implementing training and incentive programs to maintain a well-trained staff focused on achieving service excellence.
• Review reservation books and function sheets for your shift, ensuring room setups align with booking and event requirements.
• Initiate opening procedures for breakfast, lunch, or dinner shifts, and complete the required closing procedures.
• Inspect the cleanliness and setup of rooms, ensuring they are prepared for the next service or event and are ready for members.
• Document tasks and notes in the shift log to ensure effective communication for the following shift.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the al carte menu, including daily features and specials.
• Demonstrate a clear understanding of all liquors, beers, and wines available at the club.
• Actively participate in daily line-ups, weekly service trainings meetings, and special training sessions as requested.
• Ensure completion of daily assignments and side work to club standards, including maintaining clean, sanitary work areas and restocking supplies as needed.
• Interact professionally with members and guests, accommodating changes and last-minute requests to enhance their experience.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
