Job summary

VASA Fitness is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager, supervise the Member Experience team, and drive club performance. The AGM coaches staff, leads sales initiatives, and ensures an outstanding guest experience in a dynamic fitness club environment.

The candidate will develop operations, uphold the UPLIFT culture, and collaborate with leadership to hit financial and customer-service targets. This role offers opportunity for growth within a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years customer service in a retail or in-person service industry.
• 3+ years leading operational teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must pass a background check; CPR certification may be required in some locations.

Responsibilities

• Support the GM by forecasting staffing needs and managing workload.
• Lead membership sales training and coaching MES on sales techniques.
• Ensure club operates smoothly across departments and maintains guest experience.
• Schedule and conduct interviews, participate in hiring for key roles.
• Foster a positive culture and develop a high-performing team in the club.
