Job summary

VASA Fitness is seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) to drive club performance, coach a high-performing Member Experience team, and lead sales initiatives. This role reports to the General Manager and ensures 7-day club coverage, financial targets, and superior guest experiences.

The AGM will develop staff, guide operational excellence, and foster VASA’s UP LIFT culture across departments, while recruiting and training frontline team members to deliver world-class service.

Qualifications

• 3+ years customer service in a retail, restaurant or in-person service industry.
• 3+ years leading operational teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Build relationships by establishing trust quickly and positively influencing others.
• Personal interest in health, wellness, fitness, and nutrition.
• Must obtain a current CPR certification.
• Pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager by forecasting upcoming staffing needs.
• Lead membership sales training and coach team on sales techniques.
• Ensure club goals are met across departments and 7-day coverage.
• Directly manage and develop Member Experience Leads and Specialists.
• Lead by example to uphold the UP LIFT culture and values.
