Job summary

VASA Fitness seeks an Assistant General Manager (AGM) to drive club results, lead a high-performing MES team, and coach sales initiatives. You will support the GM, oversee operations, and promote the UPLIFT culture across the club.

You will train and develop the MES, lead member sales efforts, and ensure a world-class guest experience while maintaining a positive, collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years customer service in a retail, restaurant, or in-person service.
• 3+ years leading operational teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Build relationships by establishing trust quickly and positively influencing others.
• Personal interest in health, wellness, fitness, and nutrition.
• Must obtain a current CPR certification.
• Pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Support the GM by forecasting upcoming staffing needs and guiding the club.
• Lead membership sales training and coach Member Experience Specialists.
• Schedule and facilitate training for all new team members.
• Collaborate with the GM to hire and develop leads in key roles.
• Directly manage the MES and MEL to ensure a great guest experience.
• Promote the UPLIFT culture in every interaction and service.
• Drive sales plans to achieve member growth and club profitability.
