Job summary

VASA Fitness in a Colorado club seeks an Assistant General Manager to lead daily operations, coach the Member Experience Specialists, and drive member growth with personal production and strong team development.

The AGM partners with the General Manager to manage pace, financial performance, and guest experience, while building an uplifting culture and overseeing hiring, training, and service standards across the club.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least 3 years in customer service in retail/food service.
• At least 3 years leading operational teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build relationships quickly and influence others.
• Interest in health, wellness, fitness, and nutrition.
• Current CPR certification.
• Background check required.

Responsibilities

• Support GM by managing pace, financial performance, and consistency.
• Lead membership sales training and coach MES on sales techniques.
• Schedule and coordinate interview process with GM.
• Hire, train, and develop club team focusing on lead roles.
• Maintain UPLIFT culture in the club.
• Oversee equipment, facilities, and cleanliness.
