Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking an Assistant Club Manager in Training to lead assigned departments, drive club performance, and develop talent. The AMIT will oversee onboarding, certification, and training to ensure food safety and operational excellence, acting as Manager on Duty when needed.

The role requires strong leadership, audit compliance, and partnership with club management to deliver GOLD standards and premium member experiences across shifts.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in retail store/warehouse operations management.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Reliable, customer-focused with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic department leadership across assigned areas.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop team members.
• Oversee labor planning, scheduling, and performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and food safety standards.
• Lead operational readiness to open daily with clean, stocked conditions.
