Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in the United States seeks a Club Manager to lead the operations and profitability of a BJ’s club, delivering on strategic priorities, providing market-leading value on merchandise and services, and ensuring a safe and positive environment for team members and Members.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a retail store, supermarket, or warehouse operations manager.
• Strong drive for results and solid work ethic.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Solid understanding of profit & loss, shrink control, staff development, merchandising, customer service.
• Open shift availability.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Leads the team by managing with vision and purpose, providing direction and validating results.
• Creates a club culture where team members are challenged, recognized, and developed.
• Manages talent and builds a strong bench through development and performance feedback.
• Communicates clearly to ensure team members understand the reasons and keep messaging simple.
• Controls costs and drives operational efficiencies to meet profit objectives.
• Meets planned sales targets through supervision of warehouse operations and coordination with Home Office.
