Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Louisiana is seeking a Club Manager to lead operations and drive profitability while delivering an exceptional member experience.

You will supervise a large team, develop talent, manage costs, and implement improvements to meet profit objectives and store performance goals in a fast-paced retail environment.

Onboarding spans 8-12 weeks with mentorship from senior leaders to accelerate impact and ensure consistent operations across the club.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a retail store, supermarket, or warehouse operations manager.
• Strong drive for results and solid work ethic.
• Excellent communication skills; ability to lead and motivate a large team.
• Solid understanding of P&L, shrink control, merchandising, customer service, problem solving, and conflict resolution.
• High school diploma and/or college degree preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including cross-functional teams and training team members.
• Open shift availability.
• At least 18 years of age.

• Monitor local competition and trends in retail to stay competitive.
• Control costs and drive operational efficiencies to maximize profitability.
• Implement concepts to improve profitability and member experience.
• Meet planned sales objectives through effective supervision of warehouse operations.
• Maintain a roadmap for achieving KPIs across productivity, audit, shrink, and turnover.
