Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Club Manager to lead store operations, drive profitability, and deliver an outstanding member experience. You will supervise the club team, develop talent, and implement cost controls while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

The role requires leadership strength, excellent communication, and a results-driven mindset to meet targets and uphold BJ’s standards across all club activities.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a retail store, supermarket, or warehouse operations manager required.
• Excellent communication skills; must be able to lead and motivate a large team.
• Solid understanding of profit & loss statements, shrink control, merchandising, customer service, problem solving and conflict resolution required.
• Open shift availability required.
• High school diploma and/or college degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads the club team by communicating vision, directing actions, and validating results.
• Creates a club culture where team members are challenged, supported, and recognized.
• Manages talent and builds bench strength; provides honest feedback.
• Responds quickly to change and communicates clearly with staff.
• Controls costs and drives operational efficiencies to maximize profitability.
• Meets planned profit objectives through supervision of operations and KPIs.
