Job summary

Taymax Group, a multi-club Planet Fitness franchise operator, seeks a Front Desk/Staff Supervisor in San Jose (Saratoga), California. You will welcome members, manage staff schedules, and ensure top-tier service and cleanliness across the club.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of customer service experience, basic computer skills, CPR certification, and a passion for fitness. Role includes coordination with the Club Manager and cross-functional teamwork within a large franchise network.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older and have a high school diploma/GED equivalent required.
• One year of customer service experience preferably in a similar gym or retail environment.
• Current CPR Certification required.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite) and the ability to learn systems quickly.
• Solid supervisory, diplomacy and listening skills.
• Hard working, enthusiastic and energetic, and a passion for health and fitness!
• Strong customer service and problem resolution skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Must have a valid driver's license, acceptable driving record and must have own reliable means of transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting, hiring, training and developing a high performing staff.
• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere for members and guests, ensuring superior customer service.
• Provide backup support to Club Manager and supervise staff to ensure shifts are covered.
• Greet members, check in, answer questions, and communicate updates or events.
• Oversee cleanliness and safety, coordinate club upkeep and reports.
• Assist in ordering supplies and tracking statistics and reports.
