Job summary

Planet Fitness Tampa is seeking a Club Manager to oversee gym operations and deliver a Judgment Free member experience while driving a financially successful club. You will lead a team, train staff, handle front desk operations, payroll, and safety, ensuring opening/closing, member satisfaction and compliant processes.

You will manage staff development, enforce Planet Fitness values, and work to grow the club’s membership and engagement through quality service and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Superior customer service skills, preferably in the fitness industry.
• Strong leadership and people-management abilities.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train and develop staff including Assistant Managers, Members Service Representatives, Trainers and Custodians.
• Create a welcoming atmosphere and enforce top service standards.
• Schedule shifts, manage payroll processing and staff performance.
• Ensure gym opening/closing procedures and safety compliance.
• Oversee front desk operations and member onboarding.
