Job summary

Invited is seeking an entry‑level Cook 1 in New Jersey to handle setup, basic prep, and station organization under experienced team members. You’ll contribute to consistent food quality and presentation while maintaining cleanliness and proper storage practices.

You will work with Cook 2 and Cook 3, support kitchen operations, and interact with members and guests to ensure an excellent dining experience. Weekend/holiday shifts are possible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3 years of kitchen experience preferred.
• Valid Food Handler certification as required by state/city regulations.

Responsibilities

• Set up, prep, and organize workstation efficiently.
• Prepare and store all food items for your station per standards.
• Maintain proper cooking techniques and presentation of daily items.
• Receive and store kitchen items as requested.
• Assist with cleanliness and sanitation of work area and equipment.
• Communicate with Executive/Sous Chef on product needs or quality.
