Job summary

24 Hour Fitness is seeking a General Manager in Anaheim to drive membership growth, revenue, and operational excellence. You will lead a high-performing team to deliver an exceptional member experience and achieve ambitious sales goals.

You will oversee daily club operations, staff development, budgeting, safety protocols, and community outreach, ensuring targets are met with a customer-first approach.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of management experience in retail/hospitality/fitness with a proven track record.
• 2-4 years of progressive management experience supervising 3-10+ employees with measurable development.
• Ability to inspire teams and implement a strong service culture.
• Create outstanding member and team experiences through people development and collaboration.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• CPR/AED certification required within 30 days of hire, company-supported training.
• Personal Training certification required within 90 days of hire; degree may satisfy instead.

Responsibilities

• Drive membership sales, fitness, retail and other revenue streams to exceed targets.
• Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team.
• Provide coaching and leadership to the team with clear objectives.
• Foster a welcoming, community-focused environment and member engagement.
• Oversee club operations, maintenance, and cleanliness.
• Manage budgets, control expenses, and maximize profitability.
• Implement safety protocols and ensure staff safety compliance.
• Engage with the local community and represent the gym at events.
• Develop member retention programs, events, and incentives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
