Job summary

Fitness Ventures LLC is seeking a Janitor / Maintenance Attendant to keep the club clean, safe, and welcoming for members and staff. You will work closely with club leadership to maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and sanitation while addressing maintenance needs.

The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to operational excellence to deliver a positive member experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• Previous janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, maintenance, or facility operations experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness, appearance, and organization of interior areas including fitness spaces, locker rooms, restrooms, studios, and common areas.
• Ensure exterior of facility, entrances, walkways, and surrounding grounds are clean, safe, and presentable.
• Complete cleaning and sanitation tasks per daily, weekly, monthly schedules.
• Follow cleaning protocols and sanitation standards to promote a healthy environment.
• Assist members and guests with requests in a courteous and professional manner.
• Monitor facility for safety hazards and maintenance issues, reporting findings promptly.
• Maintain cleaning supplies, equipment, and storage areas safely and efficiently.
• Support club operations and special projects as assigned by management.
• Demonstrate a positive, team-oriented attitude with members and staff.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, safety standards, and guidelines.
