Job summary

Fitness Ventures LLC is seeking a Janitor / Maintenance Attendant to keep the club clean, safe, and welcoming for members and guests. You will partner with club leadership to meet high standards of cleanliness and sanitation, while assisting with maintenance needs and daily operations.

Priority is given to reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced fitness environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, maintenance, or facility operations preferred.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.
• Reliable, dependable and able to maintain a consistent schedule.
• Certifications required by state/local regulations, if any.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness, appearance and organization of interior areas including fitness spaces, locker rooms, restrooms, studios and common areas.
• Keep the exterior of the facility clean, safe, and presentable.
• Complete cleaning and sanitation tasks per daily, weekly and monthly schedules.
• Follow cleaning protocols and sanitation standards to promote a healthy environment.
• Assist members and guests with requests in a courteous and professional manner.
• Monitor facility for safety hazards and maintenance issues and report promptly.
• Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment in a safe, organized manner.
• Support club operations and special projects as assigned by management.
• Demonstrate a positive, team-oriented attitude and adhere to policies and procedures.
