Job summary

The Club at Castlewood in Pleasanton, CA is seeking a full-time Food & Beverage Manager to lead daily operations across dining and catering. You will supervise staff, manage inventory, plan menus with the Executive Chef, and ensure exceptional member and guest service in a fast-paced setting.

This role emphasizes leadership, training, and financial controls, with a focus on sanitation and guest satisfaction. Eligible candidates bring hospitality experience and strong people skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience managing food & beverage operations, ensuring guest satisfaction and financial controls.
• Strong leadership and people management skills to develop high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication with members, guests and staff to maintain service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Manages daily Food & Beverage operations with emphasis on member/guest satisfaction and service quality.
• Supervises inventories and maintains appropriate par levels.
• Coordinates with Executive Chef on menu planning and pricing.
• Directs hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating staff.
• Ensures sanitation and safety standards are consistently met.
• Maintains inventory controls and analyzes production and costs.
• Fosters relationships with Troon suppliers and partners.
• Reviews performance and drives continuous improvement.
