Job summary

Castlewood Country Club in Pleasanton, CA, is seeking a driven Part-Time Server to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Responsibilities include taking guests’ orders, serving food and beverages, maintaining a professional appearance, and ensuring guest satisfaction while adhering to sanitation and alcohol policies. 1–2 years of food service experience and a high school diploma are preferred; must be of legal drinking age.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of food service experience
• Minimum education: High School Diploma
• Understanding of fine and casual dining
• Legal age to serve liquor according to state law
• Excellent customer service skills
• Dependable and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Team player

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional appearance at all times
• Provide prompt and efficient customer service
• Display knowledge of the F&B menu
• Take guests' food and/or drink orders and relay to kitchen/bar
• Serve beverages and meals to guests accurately and timely
• Adhere to sanitation, safety and alcohol policies and confirm legal drinking age
• Check back to ensure guest satisfaction and replenish as needed
• Suggest desserts, coffee and other items as applicable
• Handle all cash and/or credit payments following SOPs
• Keep tables and work stations sanitized and organized
• Listen and respond to customer complaints
• Perform cleaning and closing procedures as assigned
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisor or manager
