Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware seeks a Club Director to lead day-to-day operations and program direction at a designated Club location. This role emphasizes DEI-aligned leadership, program quality, fiscal stewardship, and staff development to support youth outcomes.

The Club Director works within a regional framework, guiding facility management, safety, and collaboration with area clubs to deliver high-impact programming in licensing-compliant environments.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of youth development, strategic planning, board development, and resource management.
• Four-year degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading and supervising a team.
• Minimum of three years in management, administration, and operations, preferably in a Boys & Girls Club or nonprofit.
• Qualified to obtain Delaware First School-Age Childcare Administrator certification within one year.

Responsabilités

• Provide leadership for the successful operation of the Club.
• Collaborate with Area Clubs to enhance programming and staffing efficiencies.
• Ensure high standards of excellence in program delivery across licensed childcare, sports, arts, health, and more.
• Drive club culture with positive youth development and trauma-informed practices.
• Lead staff development, training, observations, and performance monitoring.
• Oversee safety, security planning, and compliance with OCCL and STARS regulations.
• Ensure licensed curriculum and program quality meet required standards.
• Support fundraising, community relations, and strategic planning with the Area Director.
