Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware seeks a Club Director to lead daily operations and program direction at a designated Club location, aligning with our mission and DEI values. The role requires staff leadership, program quality, fiscal and facility management, risk oversight, and strong community relations, with a focus on youth development and safe, engaging environments.

The Club Director oversees program implementation, staff development, budgeting, compliance with OCCL and STARS, and

Qualifications

• Knowledge of youth development and program planning.
• Four-year degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading and supervising a team.
• Three+ years in management/operations in nonprofit setting.
• Certification: Delaware First School-Age Childcare Administrator within 1 year.
• Valid driver’s license; willingness to drive and travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for the successful operation of the Club.
• Collaborate with Area Clubs to enhance programming and impact.
• Ensure licensing, STARS, and OCCL compliance and safety.
• Lead staff development, trainings, and performance monitoring.
• Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and resource management.
• Support area directors and build partnerships with the community.
