Job summary

Scion Technology Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for an experienced IT Project Manager for our client, a provider of managed network services and enterprise communication solutions. This is a direct hire role based out of Portland, Oregon.

The IT Project Manager will lead the delivery of client-facing cloud voice, contact center, and technology migration projects, coordinating 8–15 active engagements across multiple sites while partnering with vendors and carriers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technology project management experience delivering client implementations, migrations, or deployments.
• PMP or PgMP or PRINCE2 Practitioner certification in good standing.
• Experience managing 8-15+ active client projects simultaneously.
• Experience in MSP/VAR or telecom-focused professional services environments.
• Strong experience with cloud voice, UCaaS, VoIP, and/or cloud contact center technologies.
• Technical knowledge of LAN/WAN, switching, routing, firewalls, wireless, SD-WAN.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with client-facing presence.
• Experience coordinating multiple third-party vendors and external dependencies.
• Familiarity with CRM/PSA platforms; ConnectWise is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of client-facing technology implementations, migrations, and deployments.
• Manage a portfolio of 8-15 active projects concurrently.
• Serve as primary client contact throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead cloud voice, contact center, UCaaS, and related migrations.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
• Coordinate internal resources and ensure teams have direction to complete work.
• Manage relationships with vendors, carriers, and other stakeholders.
• Coordinate carrier orders, installations, and external dependencies.
• Run project kickoff, status, and client meetings.
• Coordinate migration and cutover activities, including after-hours work.
