Job summary

Wasabi Technologies Inc. is seeking a Cloud Technical Support Engineer intern for a 6–8 month coop term in the Boston area. The role offers a hybrid schedule (onsite/remote) and a chance to work across Support, Product, Development, and QA teams.

The candidate should have a software engineering background, be able to diagnose and report defects, and engage across teams to improve Wasabi cloud storage integrations with third-party applications. Masters preferred.

Qualifications

• Computer Science/Telecommunication Networks or Software Engineering background; work with in-built tools and new tools talking to Wasabi Cloud.
• Diagnose, research, reproduce, and report defects; test storage service with third-party storage applications; work with customers on storage use cases.
• Support partner engineering by validating interoperability between Wasabi and third-party software using APIs & SDKs.
• Familiarity with AWS S3/Cloud storage.
• Understanding of Linux and networking protocols (HTTP, TCP/IP, DNS, TLS).
• Currently residing in Massachusetts, Boston Metro preferred.
• Ability to work 40hrs per week in a hybrid structured model.
• Master's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help our enterprise customers integrate their applications with Wasabi.
• Assist our partners in deploying Wasabi into their customer environments.
• Explore the inner workings of the S3 protocol and how it communicates with Wasabi’s services.
• Engage with Wasabi sales and development engineers worldwide to enhance our service.
